Dear youth members,

茶阳(大埔)会馆青年团6天5夜大埔交流

Char Yong (Dabu) Association, Singapore, is organizing a youth exchange programme solely for its youth members this summer and you have  been invited! If you are an active youth member of the association, an associate youth member who has participated in our previous youth group  activities, OR you would like to join us in our future activities more regularly, you ARE invited to sign up for this event.

Developed to let curious youths like yourself to learn more about their cultural roots, this exchange programme includes fun-filled activities like  cooking hakka dishes and singing hakka songs as well as visits to interesting places such as the ancestors’ home of our Minister Mentor Lee  Kuan Yew, local schools and nature reserves. For more information on the proposed itinerary, please see Annex I.

This programme will take place on 23th to 28th June (Tuesday to Sunday)* and will be guided by the local hakka leaders and youths. As this is a  cultural and educational exchange programme, the Association will subsidize the entire itinerary as described below.

Should you be interested in the abovementioned programme, please email your name, (age / date of birth), passport number and expiry dates, and  contact details to Miss Camellia Yong at camellia.yong@gmail.com by 15th May 2009. As there are limited vacancies, please submit your names  early to prevent disappointment. Only eligible youth members will be entertained on a first come first served basis. In addition, priority will be given  to youths who have not visited Dabu before.

We look forward to your fervent participation. Thank you.
